Tourlies operates a marketplace that connects travellers with independent experience operators (“operators”). These terms apply whenever you browse the site, create an account, or make a booking. If you don't agree with them, please don't use Tourlies.
Tourlies is an intermediary. The experience itself is supplied by the operator named on the listing, under a contract between you and that operator. Tourlies handles discovery, booking, payment collection and customer support; the operator is responsible for delivering the experience safely, lawfully and as described.
We vet operators before publishing them and remove those who fall short, but we do not run tours, employ guides or own vehicles or venues.
A booking is only confirmed once payment succeeds and we issue a voucher. For listings marked “instant confirmation” this is immediate; otherwise the operator has up to 24 hours to accept, and we refund you in full if they cannot.
Listing content — descriptions, photos, inclusions, meeting points, age limits — is supplied by the operator. We check what we reasonably can, but the operator is responsible for its accuracy.
Your voucher carries a booking reference and a signed QR code. The operator may refuse admission if you cannot present a valid voucher, arrive after the stated cut-off, or do not meet the age, health, fitness or safety requirements published on the listing. Refusal on those grounds is treated as a no-show.
Cancellation rights depend on the listing and are set out in full in our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. Where an operator cancels, you receive a full refund.
Follow the operator's safety instructions and local law. Operators may end an experience without refund where a participant is intoxicated, abusive, or puts others at risk. Don't misuse the platform: no scraping, no resale of vouchers, no attempts to interfere with the site or forge voucher codes.
You may only review experiences you actually booked and attended. By posting a review, photo or other content you grant Tourlies a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it in connection with the platform. We moderate against our published review policy and may remove content that breaks it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that: Tourlies is not liable for the acts or omissions of operators, and our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed connections, accommodation or onward travel.
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events outside their reasonable control — severe weather, natural disaster, strike, epidemic, government action or civil unrest. Where such an event prevents an experience going ahead, the cancellation policy applies as if the operator had cancelled.
The Tourlies name, logo, site design and software are ours. Listing content belongs to the operator who supplied it. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses staff or operators, or is used for fraud. You can close your account at any time; bookings already made remain subject to their cancellation policy.
We may update these terms. Changes apply to bookings made after the updated version is published; the version in force when you booked governs that booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and the courts of Travis County, Texas have jurisdiction — without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live. Please contact us first: most disputes are resolved by email within days.
